Geneva’s Story

When I first connected with Robyn it was in the fall of 2020.  I was about six months into my business and I felt like I had absolutely nothing to show for it.

I worked with a business coach (the standard 8 week program that promises you big money and success), I was posting every day and giving value, I was offering free coaching sessions, resources, and time.

I made about $231 dollars from a few course sales and a masterclass.

But I couldn’t sign a 1:1 client.  I promoted a group program that was a flop.

I couldn’t figure out what I was missing.  I felt like everyone else had this big secret they were keeping from me.  I was watching all the big name coaches fill their programs and flaunt the money wins.

I felt like I was spinning my wheels trying to make my business work.

I connected with Robyn in a membership and she reached out to me after I posted what I can only call a desperate plea for help.  I was tired of listening to all the voices in the online space and walking away confused.

We hit it off right away.  She was the first person that genuinely seemed to understand and care about who I was, my business, and what I wanted.

She listened.  She asked the right questions.  She gave without expecting anything in return.

I made the decision to join her CEO Mastermind in January of 2021.  In all honesty, looking back now, I was not ready for a mastermind.  I was not ready for everything that was coming my way.  But what I needed was to expand my circle and meet people like me.  Quiet, introverted, impact makers.  What I needed was the 1:1 support from Robyn.

3 months into the mastermind I signed my first client for an intensive.  This came from learning more about content strategy and finding an offer I felt passionate about.

6 months into the mastermind I created a membership for women in business and I began in June of 2021 to make consistent income for the first time in my business.

During our six months together there were trials.  There were lessons.  There was so much growth.

What I took away from the mastermind and my time with Robyn was this:

1. Learning to trust myself unconditionally – there was a period of time early on in my business where I over consumed information, put certain business owners on a pedestal, and was constantly changing my niche or how I did things because I ALWAYS thought I was doing something wrong.  I ALWAYS thought they knew better.  Leaving the mastermind I learned to trust myself, my expertise, and my decisions.

2. Learning that growing a sustainable business takes time – we are told that it can happen overnight.  We are told that the quick wins and scaling is what to aim for.  In my time with Robyn I learned that this is not true and it’s not something to necessarily strive for.  Time is a gift.  It takes time to build trust with your audience, to build trust with yourself, and when you get the clients and the money, then you will be prepared for it emotionally.

3. Having a profitable, impact driven business – the BIG transformations came shortly after the mastermind.  Selling became easier.  Signing clients became easier.  I went from making $231 dollars to making 5 figures in 2021.

I know that my growth and my success is my own.  But I also know that my growth and success can be attributed to Robyn’s coaching, leadership, and care.

The only way I can describe what she did for me and my business is that she not only threw me a life raft as I was drowning in the ocean of entrepreneurship, but she genuinely cared about me and my success.  She cared about me as a human being.  And THAT is something that is rare in the online coaching industry.

I am happy to now have her as a colleague and a friend.

And I look forward to working with her 1:1 again as my coach in the near future.
